Valid Mold Info Sources Online

Looking back now, I realize I have been affected profoundly over the course of my life by mold and mycotoxins, and mostly recently VERY BADLY AFFECTED by the exposure in this home we'd been in for 6 years.

These compounded issues shoved me forcefully into depths of mold and biotoxin illness I hadn't experienced before. I hit my rock bottom of health. It was a long slow fall I didn't recognize, because I DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TOXINS OR MOLD before this.

Now I constantly cruise for new sources of valid information in the areas of:




dietary health,


healing modalities,


and PANS/PANDAS research and healing.

I used to follow accounts and webpages full of fear of this newly diagnosed Mold situation I was in- searching and grasping for anything and some understanding that would help me get out of where I was.

Now that I have: accepted my situation, made personal and environmental changes, and am seeing progress in my recovery- I still follow the most valid accounts accounts I had found for more information to put in my toolkit.

Now, I follow them with appreciation for their content and gratitude. So many doctors, remediators, and regular people have experienced mold illness or biotoxin illness and they actually WANT to share education to help others.

Education is my crutch if all else fails, and because I have children growing up in this toxic world I need to ensure I am doing right by them by educating them (in a developmentally appropriate manner) about all of these things they are encountering- because they have to grow up navigating their own lives and being advocates for their own health.

I never want them to know what I have known the past two years. I never want anyone else to either.

Dr. Shoemaker

"The godfather of mold illness". Was a pioneer in the area of understanding mold, mold toxicity, biotoxin issues, and CIRS. Created some of the first protocols used to help people recover from mold illness/biotoxin illness. Great reads on his website, very thorough information. Includes the VCS test- test that shows with 98% accuracy if a person has a biotoxin illness affecting them, "if your results are positive, you could have a number of different conditions and should see your healthcare provider."

Jennifer Cannon's Website

A survivor of mold and mold illness, she is sharing her story and extensive steps to heal.

SERIOUSLY it is STEP by STEP- for those of us with cognitive dysfunction.

Dr. Jaban Moore

Shares daily information about: Mold, biotoxins, parasites, candida, yeast, Lyme disease, gut dysbiosis, PANS, PANDAS, inflammation, detox, detox support, supplements.

Does Instagram Live every Wednesday on his lunch break to answer generic questions about these topics, disclaimer: he will answer your questions honestly and with his treating experience and is NOT giving you professional medical advice to act on.

Has an open practice and is taking new clients.

Dr. Jill Crista

Shares knowledge of: Mold, mold illness, mycotoxins, antifungals, antivirals, natural herbs and healing from illness, ways to recover the body. Taking new clients in her practice. Often featured on podcasts you can google.

Brendan Dean Vermeire

Education about: Mold, mycotoxins, inflammation, leaky gut, leaky brain, causes of mental disorders, examines root causes of many neuropsychiatric issues.

Neil Nathan

Author of "Toxic" and currently runs a practice that is open to new patients. Excellent pearls of wisdom all around biotoxin illness, MCAS, CIRS, Lyme disease, mold, and anything environmentally toxic. Shares tons of treatment information.

Karen Thomas

Uplifting interviews with world renown medical professionals about understanding how Autism symptoms often come from underlying: gut issues, immune issues, genetic variances, toxins we breathe/eat/are exposed to and can not detox properly, or a myriad of other reasons.

Karen and guests look at complex reasons autism symptoms present and how we can work with the body to help it function properly and recover from those symptoms.

She is a treasure for understanding how to treat children with PANS, PANDAS, Mold, Lyme and coinfections.

Exposing Mold

A trio discusses EVERYTHING related to mold, each episode of their podcast highlighting a different aspect. Their website is a look into many of the topics they've covered on the podcast with world-renown leaders in various medical and environmental fields. They're rooted in sharing concern for the global mold crisis and working on demanding governmental/societal acknowledgement that mold is a tremendous issue that needs fixing.

One of the hosts is Erik Johnson- one of the first people to be labeled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and M.E. He has been waging a life-long battle to make information about mold and how it affects the human body known.

He also educates about the profound internal conditions that arise from mold and mycotoxins, and how these symptoms generally are given a new syndrome or alternate disease label by western medicine- while their relationship to mold or biotoxin exposure ignored and untreated. He is an unstoppable force in the mold advocacy world, full of knowledge.

A lot of information about pain and recognizing what is it and where it comes from in the body. Offers ways to support the body to reduce or eliminate pain via Lymphatic System, Liver, and Moving the Body for healing.

Vast information about mold and mycotoxins. Information about herbs that can help you.

Lauren Keller, MA, APRN, CNM

Recovered from mold illness, mold toxicity, lyme, breast implant illness, parasites, and coinfections. Traditionally trained in western medicine, she moved to alternative medicine to self treat and heal when she wasn't seeing significant results with antibiotics and traditional treatments. Practicing now, open to new patients.

Dr. Jess Peatross MD

She's a former hospitalist, internal medicine based medical doctor and a certified Gerson Practitioner. She is an expert in the areas of stealth infections, environmental toxicity, regenerative medicine, ozone, and cannabis. She left western medicine because of it's reliance on pills to fix everything. Great source of info on mold/lyme/infections and has coined "kill, bind, sweat" as a detox program strategy. While her content is great- rarely it does get political and that leaves a bit of a weird vibe if you don't align with her views, (I don't exactly.)

Jamie Cooper "Moldy Boy"

Absolutely the funniest person I follow in the mold world, he is always ready with a hilarious take on situations that we fighting mold illness encounter. Wonderful at creating memes and short videos, but also a treasure cove of knowledge about mold- and open to sharing his own journey of recovery.

Nice to have a first person male perspective on mold, especially since men don't tend to open up about their mold exposures and issues. He has a website that touts solid information on 5 different Protocols for recovery.


Dr. Joe Dispenza

Shares: The power of the mind to overcome illness/injury, the Mind-Body Connection, how altering our thinking changes how our body functions. Recovered from a severe spinal injury with the power of his mind.

Any podcast/recording you can find with him as a guest is a great listen for positive mindset, setting intention, and finding gratitude- which are essential for healing.

The Chronic Comeback with Phil Hadfield

Uplifting Stories of Chronic Illness and Recovery- stories, treatments, strategies, and healing.

These have been amazing for me to listen to during treatments and hard days so I KEEP THE HOPE! Knowing other people have walked in your shoes, or worse, and find recovery keeps you going. Look for the people who have made it and follow them.

The GUPTA program

EFT Emotional Freedom Technique or "Tapping"

EFT is a form of energy psychology that combines the mind, the body, and its energy field to treat emotional and physical illness. Research has shown that EFT effectively treats anxiety, depression, addiction, symptoms of trauma, and a host of other emotional and physical problems.

EFT is based on the Chinese theory of energetic meridians. Chinese medicine believes that we all have meridians, which are energetic pathways that run through our bodies (similar to how blood runs through our veins). When we are sick, those meridians are blocked. To heal, needles are placed in specific acupuncture points on the body to unblock the energy to restore health. Tapping also uses energetic meridians, except tapping with your fingers is done on the specific energy points instead of using needles.

Tapping is simple, easy, and effective. Research has shown that it can actually improve brain structure and function. It can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical issues from insomnia to headaches, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

She is recovering from CFS and ME among other items. Shares a very positive and introspective look at central nervous system dysregulation, as well as ways to reset it. Critical for recovery. Also looks at Vagal nerve issues and gives strategies to help that.


Michael Rubino- The Mold Medic

Shares remediation tips and correct procedures to follow when removing mold from home, has basic knowledge of CIRS, mold illness, biotoxin illness, discusses issues with improper remediation and what it can cause, currently runs mold inspection and remediation company All American Restoration and does take customers all over America.
